Nothing Improper Synopses Helen Scheaffer is America’s favorite radio psychologist. She’s honest, feisty, caring, and genuine. When her philandering husband divorced her to gain control of half her money, she was been reluctant to try love again. Instead, she has started a crusade to force Hollywood to tone down the graphic violence and sex in their movies. Alex Whitsett is Hollywood’s most infamous playboy, despite having a wife in London. A successful director of violent, erotic thrillers, he lives a vain, extravagant lifestyle. Such lifestyles are expensive, and standing directly in the way of his next big paycheck is Helen Scheaffer. If he can just sweet talk her into removing her opposition to his next film, he’ll be back on easy street. Unfortunately, she won’t be as easy as his usual romantic targets. Helen gets wind of Alex’s plan, and puts him to the comic test making him jump through some hilarious hoops. In the process, the two opposites find an irresistible attraction, and secretly fall in love. They have to hide it from the public or risk damaging Helen’s chance at an important government appointment. (due to Alex’s married state.) When she finds out he’s been dishonest with her, she breaks it off. Apart, they’re miserable. Will Hannah’s flamboyant assistant Matthew be able to bring them back together? |
