The Village of Armada is located in the northern part of Macomb County, in the township of Armada.  It is approx. 1.5 hours north of Detroit.  Population is approx. 1300.  The police department consists of The Chief of Police, 1 Full Time Officer and 9 Part-Time Officers.  This gives the Village 24 hour police coverage.  We recently upgraded from 2 Ford Crown Victorias to Dodge Chargers.   Both cars are used for routine patrol.  However one is set up for traffic enforcement.  Both cars are equiped with in car computers running the TALON program.

The Armada Police Department usually has an officer available 24 hours a day.  However, the officer is usually on patrol or taking a complaint and not available at the office.  In the event you need the Armada Police, please call the regular listed number, (586)784-9152.  The call will transfer to the cell phone carried by the on-duty officer.
