RWtuneG2 Beta Updated - 12/22/2003 5:30AM EST I've been working on adding support for localization to RWtuneG2. At first I tried write my own solution, that didn't work out so well though. (My solution, while functional on Windows 2000, crashed on Windows XP and 98. Not good.) I finally decided to give Balmsoft's Polyglot a try. It seems to be working rather well, and as an added perk its language files also allow me to specify different windows sizes and control positions. This is something my own solution didn't do. Best of all, it uses a plain text file so the end-user can create their own translations. I've included two language files with this beta release, English and (poorly translated) French. |

Site Updated - 05/09/2003 7:50PM EST I've been updating the site. I've separated the various Roger Wilco! utilities onto their own pages. The locations of some of the pages have also changed. (You will be redirected to the new pages.) |

RWtuneG2
Updated - 01/25/2003 9:37PM EST RWtuneG2 has been updated again. Also added way too many other small utility programs for Roger Wilco! to list here. As you might have noticed I'm in the middle of changing the sites html layout, so the Roger Wilco! utilities page will look a bit odd. |

RWtuneG2
Updated - 06/01/2002 6:14PM EST RWtuneG2 has been updated again. Includes a minor bug fix to the "Disable Sounds" menu as well as a massive update to the method used to control RW. Previously I had been using what Resounding called Easy-Bake Integration. Which is a fancy way of saying using its command line interface. Simple to do but it has several issues. Not the least of which is the fact that it doesn't alway work under WinXP with certain games, Falcon 4 immediately springs to mind for some odd reason. ;-) This version of RWtuneG2 only uses the command line interface to start RW if it isn't running, otherwise it talks directly to the running instance of RW in the same manner that a new instance of RW talks to a previous one. I've only tested this with RW Mk1c, so if anyone using the Mk1d+ version has any problems with it e-mail me and I'll put the old version back up. |

rwbsTool
Released - 12/8/2001 11:01PM rwbsTool is now available for download. I've gotten it to the point I think it is ready for use. I almost didn't release it since GameSpy took over RW and was resuming development. However I don't particularly like the annual subscription idea, I don't use RW enough to justify paying $20.00 every year. Once, maybe. Every year? No. That being the case, and since Mark 1c works fine for me (and I must assume others,) on Win2K Pro I decided to release this program. |

DX project
cancelled - 2/9/2001 4:01PM I've decided to cancel this project. I might restart it later, but it is proving to be a royal PITA. Sorry. |

In
Development - 1/20/2001 3:29AM I've got a new project in the works right now. It's a upgrade to RWTuneG2. I'm looking into the feasibility of implementing a DirectX version. Mostly because I think it'd be pretty cool. ;-) |
