Breaking the 8th Commandment

 

The 8th commandment says,

 

"You shall not steal.”– Exodus 20:15

 

 

Breaking this Commandment (In the Bible)

  1. Abraham when he deceives rulers of the world into believing that his wife is not his wife, thus forcing them to offer forgiveness, making Abraham rich.
  2. Jacob when he deceives his Father in Law out of Spotted sheep, by breeding his spotted sheep with his Father in Law’s non-spotted sheep.
  3. Jacob, when he steals his brother’s birthright for a cup of soup.
  4. Moses, who is told by god to plunder the Egyptians when they leave.
  5. The stealing of other people’s land by murdering them.
