This is an extensive set of files of information, prepared by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, on various aspects of study skills development.
Tests for students planning on attending College in the U.S.On-line SAT preparation. These exams are prerequisite for admission to nearly all four year colleges. It's the first and only free Internet-based service designed to help students boost their SAT scores.

Canada's Free Financial Aid Resource
- A database of CANADIAN scholarships, fellowships, grants, and loans will help you find the funds you need! Start a search today! You will be asked to give your name, address, and information necessary to determine what scholarships you are eligible for. This service is FREE, and even has form letters prepared to all scholarships, awards, etc you are eligible for. Simply click on "form letter" below the award, and see for yourself.
Canadian Scholarships
- Prepared by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. Alphabetical list of undergraduate and graduate scholarships. An index of scholarships available, including contact persons. A search may also be made for scholarships offered by corporations. Also includes information on programs that support exchanges among students and faculty members in Canada and other Countries.
Scholarships Canada
- This is a scholarship finder that will generate a list of scholarships a student is eligible for. It searches a database of thousands of scholarships available to students entering their first year of post-secondary studies in Canada.
Student Loans:
- Information on Student Loans.
Student Aid On-Line Application
- Complete the application for student loan on line. You will require student's medicare number, social insurance number, as well as parents' social insurance number. Information from last year's income tax form is also required. Make sure you have the address for the post-secondary institution you plan to attend. When completing the application form do not leave spaces in medicare, social insurance or postal code. Leaving spaces in these items results in an error message.
Student Aid On-Line Inquiry
- Enter your Social Insurance Number and your Date of Birth and click on SUBMIT.
Student Need Assessment Software
- An interactive web application to help students estimate the amount of loans they may be eligible to receive under the Canada Student Loans Program.
