The show on the 15th of September was canceled do to many factors. Hopes of it being rescheduled are being looked at. More shows will be scheduled in the folloowing weeks so keep an eye out.

June 13, 2000

Where's the band lots of people have been asking a whole month and no shows almost. What Gives? Well the band is on vaction. Scott is in Florida getting some sun. Derek is going to be chillen with some friends somewhere other than Illinois, Josh, Anan and Kevin are all staying working on more music for the band. The last week of June the band will be practing their butts off to make sure they kick extra ass over at Tri Lakes, with other bands; By Design, 6A.M., Inferno, Hicup a couple others it's gonna be a big show. Also June 20th is White Pony's fourth coming Release from The Deftones, go get it's awesome!

May 2, 2000

The band will be playing some shows in May. Check out the shows page for some more details.
Drifter was also lucky enough to be allowed to have a song played off of their demo for the guys highschool prom, but have now been asked to play live at Prom.

In other news Kevin will be going into the studio this summer and will appear on 30 Watt Nonsense's demo. You can catch 30 Watt Nonsense usually playing with Drifter.

Merchandise is now available for sale! Shows are still being planned out. This summer be sure to stay tuned for possible acoustic shows the band will be doing. Also join the mailing list to be the first to know if any Guerilla shows get planned.

The band is currently trying to get shows to play. They are also getting their merchandise ready to be able to sell at shows, so be on the lookout!.

Demo news

The band has made a demo and were selling it for awhile but decided that it wasn't good enough for their expectations. With that the band will be entering the studios in May or June at Encore Productions. the band would like to put the recording out as a full length album but are unsure as of now. If you would like a demo even though the new one will come out sometime this year. Send an email to driftertheband@hotmail.com the cost is $2 plus shipping. Also a videotape of the battle of the bands show is on sale. It has two different view points of Drifter, plus Pre Skoole Dropouts, N'STYNC, 30 Watt Nonsense. Please note that the some of the footage isn't as good, nor is the sound quality. Also there is no footage of Sinkwhole on this tape. Nor is there any footage available of thier performance.
