Of all the civil rights for which the world has struggled and fought for 5,000 years, the right to learn is undoubtedly the most fundamental.

Definition of Curriculum

Curriculum encompasses all that a student learns in
school. The formal curriculum is composed of the
primary, stated objectives of school which often appear
in class syllabi such as writing a coherent essay on a
particular theme or integrating a given variable
function. Another part of the curriculum, the informal
—or hidden—curriculum, is comprised of knowledge and
experience gained from school that is not being directly
taught. Some aspects of the informal curriculum may
include but are not limited to cooperation and teamwork,
humility and pride in front of peers, punctuality and
respect, motivation and consequence, reward and punishment.
