Tomoe Hotaru is a young girl with the power to transform into SailorSaturn, the senshi of death and rebirth. Her henshin (transformation) is shown here:

SailorSaturn is one of the strongest senshi; she has the power to destroy worlds and bring about a deadly Silence. Her weapon is the Silence Glaive (pictured at the top of the page). She wields it expertly: to physically fend off attackers and to direct her powers.

After destroying Mistress Nine, SailorSaturn transports to Mamoru's apartment where Chibi-Usa lies weak and sick. She returns the heart crystal to it's rightful owner, and Chibi-Moon is restored. Then, Saturn returns to the scene of the battle and informs SailorMoon that she is going to undo the evil that Mistress9 and Master Pharaoh 90 brought into the world by Silencing it. Despite the pleas by SailorMoon, Saturn is determined to do this alone and keeps her from following by holding her Silence Glaive to her head. She says goodbye and dives into the crater to finish what she unintentionally started. Sailor Moon tries to follow but is blasted back. Screaming and crying, she tries to transform into Eternal SailorMoon, but to no avail, the holy grail was destroyed. Then, her heart crystal appears and transforms her into Super SailorMoon. She jumps into the crater and instantly the world is restored. She returns holding a little baby in her arms...Hotaru died saving the world but is reborn.
