We are a non-profit organization devoted to the collecting, researching, & preserving of old bottles,jars & related items. The majority of bottles of interest to our members date from the 19th century, & early 20th century, prior to the use of the bottle making machine, almost universal in the U.S., by around 1920. Some members do find newer items of interest, however, & certainly over time 20th century bottles will become more collectable .m
We now meet on the first floor of the Mount Scott Community Center at 5530 SE 72nd St. Portland, OR U.S.A.
Otherwise, lately I gennerally avoid posting the meeting dates as lately they have been changed a bit, & my getting word of it has been late in coming. The dates will be posted in the club newsletter. If you would like to drop in on one of our meetings,you are welcome to,but you should contact a club member for the date information.
My main reason for not posting these dates is that we would not want someone coming from far away, hoping to attend a meeting, only to find out that it won't be happening.
Membership dues are $15 per year for domestic members, & include all family members, & go from January to January, & a monthly newsletter is included.
