Nissin Top Ramen
American

Top Ramen makes some pretty good flavors, and the noodles stay firm and tender a little longer then Maruchan. Probably the best of the "American" brands.

Chili

Spilk: Spicy with a strong chili flavor, really zesty with a terrific aroma.

Banjo: flava = Spicy and... that's it. Spicy. Maybe onion or beef aftertaste.

Oriental

Spilk: Good flavor, though I'm not sure what oriental is supposed to taste like.

Banjo: Herbal, salty, mellow.

Creamy Chicken

Spilk: Smelled great! Creamy chicken flavor is thick and with just a hint of cheese.

Banjo: flava = Creamy. Chickeny. Texture and taste is slightly different from the other ramen I've tried, but still has the salty ramen aura that ties them all together.

Chicken Mushroom

Spilk: Nice balanced flavor, tasty chicken broth with a hint of mushroom.

Banjo: Fusty chicken flavor. Not too bad though.

Beef

Spilk: Not really a beef flavor. It tasted ok, though.

Banjo: I'm starting to think 'beef' doesn't translate well going to and from powder form.

Banjo: Overall rating = 5

Chicken

Spilk: Chicken broth, not too salty.

Banjo: Salty noodles and chicken broth. It's instant ramen at it's simplest.
