Martha's Page
Hi! I am Lady Delta a.k.a. Martha. My interests include my family, my computer, and
my art. I also enjoy friends, traveling, reading, and genealogy research. I grew up
in Georgia, the youngest of four –two brothers and a sister.
We have four wonderful children who have become mature, responsible
adults. As you can imagine we are very proud of them.
I received a Bachelor Degree from The University of Florida, a Masters
Degree from The University of South Florida, and a Doctorate Degree from Nova Southeastern
University.
Creating Watercolor paintings is a special joy for me. I belong to the Sand Key Artist Group. This
group meets once a week from October until May. In these sessions we explore and
apply new techniques. In March and in November we host an Art Exhibit and Sale at
the Clearwater Sailing Club on Sand Key Beach in Clearwater, FL.
In October 1997, I started my own business, Heartland Consulting
Company. I teach computer software applications such as PowerPoint, Word Processing
and the internet. I also conduct staff development training. Some development
sessions include, Plan Development, New Employee Orientation, Facilitative Leadership,
Team Building, Problem Solving, and Consensus Building. Additionally, I design and develop
PowerPoint Presentations and publish newsletters, pamphlets, and brochures.
My favorite assignment is designing and maintaining web pages. Currently, I am learning
graphics with Paintshop Pro and Adobe PhotoShop 5So far, I am enjoying my work and look
forward to new contacts.
The best part of having my own company is that I can
create special blocks of time for my family, for my art, and for my computer.
I am the Webmaster for several sites and
two of them have won various awards. Check out my design for Typhoon Trackers.This site just
won the Pentagon Inspection Award.
