Peshawar Livestock Enterprises (PLE)

On a pleasant evening of March 2004, four persons from quite different fields of life, gathered to establish a partnership for utilization livestock enterprises as a tool for entrepreneur development. Mr.Saeedullah Jan a senior administrator and a land owner wished to conduct experimentations for value addition of his lands. A senior chartered accountant Mr.Khalid Faizee wished to utilize his financial experience and some money in a non- profitable business. A metallic engineer Mr.Azam Shah wished to expand and replicate his sheep farming which had already proved to become a good support for meeting his schooling expenditures. A livestock scientist Dr.M.Subhan Qureshi desired to see the results of his development plan prepared on advice of the previous and the sitting Chief Minister NWFP but blocked by the red tape (The plan was focused at commercial exploitation of the livestock resources of the country for economic revival and poverty alleviation). Hence the four persons agreed on establishment of the PLE. An opportunity exists for getting new partners in investment, farming, meat processing and export.
