This places females above males and they should be respected, regardless of position. The one and only exception to this is the fact that Lord Barl is male and is the Patron Lord of House L'barra Rei Vla'rinnyn. (There is reason for this however, which can be found in the History section.) Even then however, he leads along side with the Lady of the house as well as the High preistess of the house.
