So here are a few shots of us with Jo in front of the old Lavenham Cathedral.  The estate with the four towers is the estate of Lord Melford in Long Melford.  We lucked out, in that we got there just as the last tour was beginning and just as a shower was threatening Joey's hair.  It seems the author Beatrix Potter was related to  these folks and spent a lot of time dreaming up her animated animal characters.
The rose garden you see here is Hyde Park in London which is where we went on our second day.  We traipsed through here on our way to Harrod's department store for lunch...it was all we could afford there.
We enjoyed a tour of Liz's Buckingham Palace and you might recognize the front gates but the garden and rear view of the Palace are rarely seen by peasants such as us.  The rooms were gorgeous as well as the artwork.  No the queen was not in house, but we did expect her to follow us turning out lights.
