Richard's Diary
We are now back from our trip and a good time was had by all although we had to call it a day at Edinburgh after a series of bike related problems. The diary is now finished and can be seen by clicking on the days links. At the bottom the pictures have now been sorted in order and organised and each film can be seen with some of the extra photos not used in the diary.
I surprised myself when writing this and I'm afraid it came to an amazing 33 pages on Microsoft word and a rather huge 22,708 words. Don't let that put you off though it's all riveting stuff, well not really but I think it's interesting and the whole trip was a great experience for us. There is also a page of additional stuff that I forgot initially and a summary of how the equipment held up.
Martin is also (slowly) writing a diary which is included below, although since he didn't write anything down on the trip I suspect he has used mine for remembering stuff, however he has yet to confirm or deny that!
Please excuse the stupid system of the first day being 'Day 0' which seemed like a good idea at the time (since day 1 was the first day of cycling), but proved to be a headache working out which day was which.

Martin's Diary

There is also a poem which is apparently the sort of thing university-level lecturers want, not my cup of tea but I guess it takes some thought to write, so take a look and see what you think.
(Martin that last paragraph is just waffle so re-write it with whatever you want it to say to introduce it like I've done for mine. I've put on everything you've sent me so far.)
