DESIRE - CIRCA 1991: Oh what pretty boys all in a row!!! We gigged, we hang out together, we were mates....but, nothing lasts. We had all known each other since primary and start of high school. Only Dean came along later when we were 18. The line up in this photo is: Tino Maioranna - Lead Guitar, Dean Whitmann - Lead Vocals, David Braovski - Drums, and yours truly on Bass guitar. Sometimes I wish I could turn back the hands of time just for one day.... Where are they now? Well, Tino has a guitar manufacturing business that is doing quite well. I still see him at the gym. David is a topless waiter and "dancer". His chemically enhanced body has to be seen to be believed! I also see Dave at the gym from time to time. Dean has short spikey orange dyed hair! He is the only one still pursuing a career in music and he works at the same factory that he did ten years ago. I haven't seen him since Grand Final day 1998. As for myself....well, I now own a thriving real estate business and life has never been easier or more comforable. All the material things I wanted to attain as a "rock-star", I now have through real estate. God has blessed me and given me the life I dreamed about as a kid growing up in a working class, blue collar immigrant family.
