Once again Ellensburg is definitely a farming community, some of the crops produced here are hay, corn, and wheat.  There are other crops as well but these are by far the three main crops.

The two green machines shown above are Hay Swathers. They cut the hay before it is dried and baled.

Anderson Hay and Grain is a major hay buyer and distributor for the northwest.  They export most of their hay overseas, much of it to Japan.  

Southwestern part of the valley.

Although struggle to survive the cattle industry is still present in the Kittitas Valley.
