Since 1993, Rhythmotomy has been dedicated to taking percussion to new dimensions. With over 100 years of combined drumming experience they perform on a wide variety of instruments and have studied with everyone from Fred Albright to Zitro. Musically their style ranges from traditional ethnic rhythms to more complex compositions that utilize both traditional percussion and advanced electronics. Their objective is to create music that bridges the space between dance and dreams designed to move your mind as well as your feet. Rhythmotomy believes that everyone needs to experience the joy of rhythm. From their ongoing community drum circles to street festivals, soundtrack music, and facilitated events they have spread the joy of drumming to scores of people.
