| How the Drunk Idiots came into being |

XX Once upon a time about ten years ago a group of friends living in the suburbs of a large American city decided to make a tape of mixed music with personal messages for a friend studying overseas. Well, the guys making the tape happened to be drinking at the time and the personal messages ended up being a drunken mess (and were really funny). XX Several more tapes were made over the next year and a half, each one being funnier than the last. At the same time one member of the original group (who was a music major) continued mixing tapes for parties, personal use and other shit (and simultaneously got really good at it while accumulating a lot of nice equipment). Well one thing lead to another and we decided to start going into bars and interviewing people for the tapes. After three funny tapes (and the addition of a CD burner), we decided to get rid of the mixed music altogether and concentrate on pure drunkenness.
