Prologue

I woke up in a sweat. Ive been having the same dream for years and it doesn't make any sense. I'm
running down a long hallway with 4 strangers and with Aaron in my arms. We get to a dead end and one
guy with dark hair says save your self's. I don't do nothing except for stand there looking at him with a
sad look on my face, like I had some sort of bond with him. The other three men push me away from him
as some guys probley the bad guys come running down the hall and start to beat the dark haired man to
death. That's when I wake up, the beating is just so graphic like I could feel that mans pain. I walked
down the stairs to smell my moms cooking, when I walked into the kitchen to see the most horrifying
sight. My mom, dad, and three sisters were lying on the ground dead. Tears stung the back of my eyes as
my thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a person crying. I looked around and saw Aaron in the
corner of the room, curled into a ball. I walked up to him and put my hand on his shoulder. He looked up
at me as I picked him up in my arms and hugged him tightly.

"Aaron did you see what happened?" I asked as he nodded his head and I sat him down in a chair. I
crouched down in front of him.

"Can you tell me what happened?"

"People in black outfits came into the house and attacked us" Aaron said as I saw more tears fall down
his cheeks. " I was so afraid". I hugged Aaron again as I felt his head on my shoulder. I picked him up
and walked out of the house. We need to find somewhere else to stay before they come again I told
myself. I looked at the surroundings, finding a place I never saw before. I felt Aaron stir in my arms. I
saw an abandon old house and ran towards it.  I opened the broken door and saw there was a mattress
on the floor. I placed Aaron on it and covered him up with my jacket. As I watched Aaron sleep I tried
to recollect my thoughts. We weren't in the same year, probley not even same century. I heard footsteps on the gravel outside and gathered Aaron in my arms in fright as I ran into a storage place,
that was just a few feet from where we were. I saw sleeping gas creep up from under the door. That
was the last thing I saw before I became unconscious.
