| "..alexa...alexa...ALEXA!!" "WHAT, WHAT?!" I woke up startled. "Come on sweetie, you have to get up. It's Friday!" "Ok, thanks mom" I got up, got ready and headed off to Chris's house to wait another hour for him to get ready like I've been doing for the past 10 years. What fun. I walked into Chris's house and went up to his room to find him standing in front of the mirror of course. "Hey" I said as I plopped myself down on his bed. He just kinda ignored me and kept on getting ready. "Are you ready? I just kinda rolled my eyes and went downstairs. "Bye Mrs. Trousdale!" I yelled into the house as I walked out and waited for Chris. On the way to school we were kinda quiet which was very unusual for us. We're always really talkative. I guess the both of us were just tired and we wanted to get through the day so it could finally be the weekend. We went to our lockers and then just walked around. I saw Paulene so I ran up to her leaving Chris with some of his friends. "Hey!" "Hey, whats up?" "Nothing really.. I'm soo tired" "Ditto.. hey who was the guy you were with yesterday, Chris?" Paulene asked me while she was staring at him. "Are you going out with him?" I burst out laughing and I guess Chris and his friends heard me because they turned around and stared at me. Chris gave me a really funny look but I just ignored him and kept on laughing. "Me and Chris.. going out?!?! Yeah right! I said still laughing. Just the thought of me and Chris going out was hysterical. "He's my best friend.. he's like my brother. I don't like him in that way" I said as Chris walked over to me. I turned around and he gave me another weird look as I was still laughing. He and Paulene said hi to each other and then me and Chris went up to homeroom. He was really quiet in Homeroom too which was unusual but I didn't really think anything of it. "Hey Chris, can you hand me that paper over there? ..chris?? CHRIS!?" "What?" He just replied as if I had only asked him once. "Can you please hand me that paper?" I said kinda pissed off. He handed to me and he seemed like he was pissed off. The bell rang so we went to our classes and me and Paulene talked through the whole period. "So do you wanna hang out tonight?" "Yeah sure, but is it okay if Chris hangs with us too?" "Yeah, OF COURSE, Chris is HOTT!" "Hah, if you say so.. so what do you wanna do?" "Well my three best friends are coming from my old town after school so can they hang out too?" "Yeah sure, I'll call you after dance, ok?" "Yup" The bell rang so I went to history with Chris and told him about the plans. "Well I told Jesse and Greg I'd hang out with them.. can they come too?" "Yeah, that'd be awesome I haven't hung out with them in soo long!" The day slowly passed by as usual so Chris went off to his practice stuff and I went to dance. |
