One
of the Digamber jain family from Vaso, Gujarat met with a very serious
road accident back in India. Wife and a daughter died on the spot
and a husband is very very serious, struggling for his life in Nadiad
hospital. the financial situation of this family is very poor and
they can not afford the medical expenses for this costly and a life
struggling treatment. If anyone want to know more about this

Proud parents Pravin S & Nalini P Shah of Randolph, NJ want to post the following outstanding achievements for their children. Daughter Sejal Patel will be pursuing MBA at Columbia University
this fall. Daughter Sonali Shah is in her third year at Princeton University,
but will actually be attending Oxford University in England this coming
year. Congratulations to parents and their children for such a wonderful
achievements. |

Swami Sri Devendrakirti is visiting the state of
New Jersey this week. He will be in New Jersey until the end of this
week. If you want to know more about his plan and activities during

Our President Shri Manhar C Shah, Trustee Shri Kumarpal A Shah and Shri Nitin R Shah took Swami Sri to a possible site for our future temple at 75th street, North Bergen, NJ. Initial feedback from Swami Sri is good |

JSOU has completed bus tour to Pittsburgh on 5/27/01 & 5/28/01. JSOU arranged for two buses and 93 JSOU members (from kids to senior citizens) took the advantage of this tour. Buses were departed at7:00AM on May 27 from North Bergen and stopped at Iselin to pick up more members and food items. Members had a lot of fun singing bhajans, film songs and jokes. Two stops (each way) were made for breakfast and lunch. Buses were reached at 4:30PM at Holiday Inn hotel at Monroeville, PA. After taking some rest, departed for Balaji temple at 5:30PM and then proceed to Hindu Jain Temple at 7:00PM. Local community members provided a warm greetings and arranged for evening dinner, morning breakfast and lunch. JSOU is very thankful to Dr. Vinodbhai H shah, Kamleshbhai B Shahand Rajesgbhai C Shah for all the arrangements they made. Members enjoyed Pooja and bhajan on Sunday evening and Monday Morning. JSOU members collected and donated $351 to the temple. Members appreciated Dr. Vinodbhai H Shah for their support and co-operation during the trip. Buses were departed from Pittsburgh on Monday at 12:30PM and reached NJ at 9:00PM. All the members appreciated committee members for their efforts. |
