Hello I'm Dawn your host,
Let me tell you about some things I enjoy. My favorite hockey team is the Montreal Canadiens, my hero in hockey is Maurice Richard. I grew up with Guy Lafleur, but Maurice Richard was all they talk about when I was growing up and my dad look just like him. Even my oldest son Jason, who was very close to my dad thought Maurice was his poppy when he seen him on T.V. . My dad even started using hair dye and leaving a little grey on the side and the next thing you know, Maurice Richard is on a comercial doing the same. Every time I see Maurice Richard I remember my dad.
I have just started my family tree and I'm really enjoying doing it. I have got in touch with my Uncle Paul that I haven't seen or talk to in ten years, so it's done some good too. I'm looking forward to talking to my Uncle Walter too.
I finally got to go to Montreal last march, the kids got hubby and I tickets to the Montreal Canadiens VS Toronto Maple Leafs game it was a complete package. The hotel and transportation, but we opt to take a plane as I've never been on one so hubby said it was time. This was our Christmas 2000 present ,it was great! Montreal won (which is always nice to see...especially when the Leafs lose) we had a great time and we are defiantly going back. oh ya ...it's also great that the man I married is a Montreal fan, and his dad before him.
I have been working in the automotive industry for lets see .....too many years now. When I found out I was going to be a grandmother I was not sure how I felt but I guess I thought I was just too young. I'm really looking forward to being a grandmother...they didn't have to do it all at once though....I told the girls they are going have to wait awhile.
