• Nov 08 -- Brian phones to the Cavern, asking for a ticket as an important visit.
• Nov 09 -- Cavern lunch session: The Beatles. By 12.30pm, Brian and Alistair Taylor visit the Cavern, during the Beatles performance.
• Nov 10 -- Performance at the Tower Ballroom, New Brighton. Part of the Big-Beat operation,  a festival with Gerry and the Pacemakers, Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, Remo Four, and Kingsize Taylor and the Dominoes.
• Dec 01 -- Meeting of Brian with Colin Borland and Beecher Stevens, both from Decca, to negotiate a recording contract, at their London office.  -- Concert at the Tower Ballroom, New Brighton.
• Dec 03 -- The Beatles and Bob Wooler meet Brian at NEMS record stores. Before they go with Wooler to drink to the Bridge pub.  4.30pm. Time agreed for the 1st formal meeting with Brian. 5.30pm. John, George, Pete and Bob Wooler are the first appearing for the meeting.  6.00pm. Half an hour later than the rest, and after going home to take a bath, Paul appears at NEMS.

• Dec 10 -- Afternoon: Meeting of the Beatles and Brian, at the Casbah Coffee Club.
• Dec 12 -- Concert at the Nottingham Odeon.
• Dec 13 -- Mike Smith, from Decca's A & R department, visits the Cavern.   -- Performance at the Casbah.
• Dec 15 -- Performance at the Tower Ballroom, New Brighton.
• Dec 18 -- Ron White sends an apology to Epstein, rejecting the group.
• Dec 23 -- Performance at the Cavern.

• Dec 29 -- Performance at the Cavern, with the Yorkshire Jazz Band.
• Dec 31 -- The Beatles leave from Liverpool to London on Neil's car. Brian goes by train.  They sleep at the Royal Hotel, Woburn Place, London.
