- Mar 07 -- The process of expulsion of John from the USA begins. Federal
authorities indicate John Lindsay, New York prefect, how to proceed in the
case.

- Apr 24 -- US single release: `Woman Is The Nigger Of The World'/`Sisters,
O Sisters'. -- John and Elephant's Memory Band appear on the `Dick
Cavett Show', to launch `Woman Is The Nigger Of The World'/`Sisters, O Sisters'.
After the show, John declares in an interview that he is being followed by
agents of the US government and that his phone is tapped.
- Apr 29 -- John Lindsay, New York governor, asks the federal authorities
permission for John and Yoko's permanent residence in the US and the deportation
processs to be cancelled.
- May 11 -- John's appearance on the Dick Cavett Show, with Yoko.
- Jun 12 -- US LP release: `Some Time In New York City'.
- Aug 10 -- Evening: Paul's concert at the Scandinavian Hall, Gothenburg,
Sweden. Paul, Linda and Denny Seiwell are arrested for possession of marijuana.
- Aug 17 -- Wings concert in Rotterdam.
- Aug 30 -- Madison Square Garden, New York. `One To One Concert', to raise
money for Willowbrook, institution for children with physical or mental defects.

- Sep 27 -- Rory Storm and his mother commit suicide at their house.
- Nov 08 -- Sgt Norman Pilcher is charged with conspiracy to pervert the
course of justice after it is discovered that he had committed in court. He
is sentenced to serve four years in prison.
- Nov 13 -- US single release: `Now Or Never'/`Move On Fast', by Yoko.
- Nov 24 -- UK single release: `Happy Xmas (War Is Over)'/`Listen The Snow
Is Falling'.
- Dec 15 -- ABC-TV broadcasts the `One To One Concert' (filmed 30 August
1972).
- Dec 22 -- Tony Cox is arrested for violating Yoko's custody rights over
Kyoko.
- Dec 23 -- Tony Cox is freed on bail ($ 5 000). -- Film `Imagine'
