Well, Downey will return wearing
his Stars jersey again! Stars GM Doug Armstrong announced
the club would re-sign forward Aaron Downey to a one-year
contract. Downey will make $425,000 next season.
"We're happy that we have Aaron under contract
for another season with the Dallas Stars," Stars
general manager Doug Armstrong said in a press release.
"He is a tough player who adds to our team both
on the ice and in the locker room." Downy had one
goal, one assist and 77 penalty minutes in 37 games
for the Stars last season. For his NHL career Downey
has three goals, and 228 penalty minutes in 120 games.
My Perspective- Downey is a great
forward I will hand him the honor of that but, he only
posted 1 goal and 1 assist last season but I think the
Stars made a dreat descion giving him another chance.
