Fall to the Avs,4-2 The loss dropped the Stars back to the .500 mark for the season at 18-18-8-0 on the season. Scott Young and Jason Arnott scored for the Stars, who have just one win in their last seven games (1-2-4-0). "If you go out there and stand around in the third period they're going to embarrass you," Stars head coach Dave Tippett said. "Down 4-0 you better play hard. If you don't then you're in trouble." Stars goaltender Marty Turco made a pass to defenseman Sergei Zubov, who then passed it ahead to Scott Young. From , Young skated through several Avs players, skated in and ripped a shot low that got past Avalanche goaltender David Aebischer to bring some life back into the Stars' home building. That was the most excited part of the game for the fans and the Stars.< >
