While going into the third period the Stars where trailing Calgary by
a 2-1 score, the Stars responded with goals from Jere Lehtinen and Jason
Arnott Saturday for a 3-2 victory at Pengrowth Saddledome. Brenden Morrow
also scored for the Stars. Mike Modano returned to the lineup and had
an assist, but Rob DiMaio still remains with an (ankle injury) and was
out for the CBC Hockey Night in Canada broadcast-FLAMES INFO-The Flames,
coming off a wild 3-3 tie in Washington Wednesday, are 3-4-2 in the nine
games since Jamie McLennan, who is filling in for the injured Roman Turek
and Miikka Kiprusoff, took over in goal. During that stretch, McLennan
has just under a 2.25 goals against average and a .918 save percentage.The
Flames were third in the Northwest Division and sixth in the Western Conference
through Thursday's games. Jarome Iginla had a goal Wednesday, giving him
18 for the season and six in his last six games. "Lately, I have
just been getting good bounces," said Iginla. "Earlier in the
year, I wasn't getting a ton." He also leads the Flames in assists
(21) and points (39). Injuries: F Craig Conroy (knee) is expected to play.
G Miikka Kiprusoff (MCL sprain), C Stephane Yelle (MCL sprain), C Blair
Betts (shoulder dislocation), LW Dave Lowry (abdominal pull) and RW Chuck
Kobasew (shoulder separation) are all sidelined indefinitely. G Jamie
McLennan (flu) and G Roman Turek (MCL tear) are day-to-day.Stars next
