I have a VW trike for sale. I was in the process of rebuilding my VW trike but bought a V8 trike and now I have no need or want for the VW trike. I have purchased many items that I was going to put on the trike but like I said, after I got the V8 I lost interest in my other trike project. It’s taking up too much room in the garage. So it’s time for it to go. It was a good trike when I bought it but I wanted to make it better. I hate to see it go to waste. If you want a great project here it is! Trike is framed see pictures below. 2X2X1/4 inch square tubing on main frame. Deck framed with 1 1/2 square tubing. Deck has been covered with 1/8 inch steel plate. The motor is a 1600 Dual Port Type 1 stock engine, and it worked fine when I took it out of the old trike. There are two transmissions, a 4 speed that works fine and an automatic transmission that I bought to replace 4 speed. New in box Jeep rear seat, new in box drivers seat with 6-way power seat unit. New in box polished aluminum round gas tank, 15 gallons with new electric fuel gauge. Full front windshield. Storage trunk. New in box hydraulic brake with pressure control brake lock. New in box hydraulic clutch with master and slave units. New in box gauges, Speedometer(cable unit), Electric Tachometer, Voltmeter & Gas Gauge. There are many other items that go with this purchase. Wiring, brake lines, mirrors, lights marker and headlights, turn signals and many other stuff.
The trike is titled, tagged and inspected as of last year. I have at least $5,000 tied up in the trike and goodies. I will sell the whole kit and kabutal for $2,500. Must be picked up, I can’t deliver.
