NAFTA affected our trade with other countries
Established fishing colonies in 1628.
Winters always long and cold.

Here’s The Old Man in the Mountain who’s really old.
Adopted our motto a long time ago.
Mount Washington with the worst weather in the world.
Peaceful, loving, caring state.
Sharing wonderful vacationing spots.
Here you’ll see white, crystal snow a lot.
Indians used birch for canoes.
Rumford served as state capital at one time.
Established first American Public Library in Peterborough.

Mason named our wonderful state.
Our nickname is the Granite State.
Upland, seaboard, and the White Mountains are geographic regions.
Not many people in our tiny little state.
Trees are one of our natural resources.
A motto strong, and true.
Industrial, machinery, and computers are our biggest exports.
Northern air always cooling our state.
Skiing is our official sport.

Amazing colors of red, orange, and yellow in the fall.
North of us is Canada.
Down below us is Massachusetts.

Maps of ours are full of roads.
Orange and red sunset skies.
Rivers run all through this state.
East of us is our friend Maine.New Hampshire

New Hampshire - The Best!

New Hampshire is a great state.

   Extraordinary license plate.

   Wentworth served as Magistrate.

Hundreds of pine trees grow here.

As does the White tailed deer.

   Many tourists enjoy New Hampshire.

People from the south often say BRR

   Shaheen is serving as governor.

Here we have more to explore.

   Ice capped hills

   Rare historical mills

Excellent place of a thousand thrills.

Can You Imagine?

Can you imagine . . . . ?

Can you imagine New Hampshire without any snow?
Or the Connecticut River without its flow?

Can you imagine New Hampshire without its spirited nudge?
Or the Supreme Court without its judge?

Can you imagine Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, and France not trading with us?
Or Franklin Pierce College without its campus?

Can you imagine the State House not being built in 1819?
Or the great woods without its powerful pine?

Can you imagine Benning Wentworth not being our chief magistrate?
Or Jon Langdon not being the first U.S> acting vice president from  our state?

Can you imagine?

New Hampshire

New Hampshire has many interesting facts,
Some of those facts date years back!

The Atlantic Ocean borders some of New Hampshire,
Only eight miles of it for that matter.

New Hampshire was settled in 1727,
And the inhabitants were children, men, and women.

Mount Monadnock plays an important role,
It is the most climbed mountain in the world, you know.

New Hampshire’s state tree is the white birch,
It’s bark is as white as a white church.

Salmon Falls and Merrimack River,
Stay in New Hampshire and don’t travel thither.

Leaves of vibrant colors exist during the fall,
It is one of the greatest exhibits of them all.

Being one of the best states,
New Hampshire has many good traits.

New Hampshire

New Hampshire
White birches galore
Bass frolicking in the sun
In our New Hampshire

Manchester, the big city
Concord, the capital city
In our New Hampshire

The purple finch soars
The official sport is skiing
In our New Hampshire

Borders the ocean
The White Mountains tower above
In our New Hampshire

Temperate weather
Lady bugs roam around
New Hampshire, my home
