I Just Can't Help Myself Episode: 1 By: K.K "I just can't myself, I'm fallen in love with you, love love, with you. It doesn't matter what you say or what you do, no matter whatcha say, no matter whacha do. Just give me a chance, and I know I'll make you understand, oh why, I just can't help myself I'm fallen in love with you," sung Ashely as she for the fifth time organized her closet. Though Ashely was messy, she loved to sing. Ashely sung the songs of almost all the popular girl groups, or singers, for fun. Her favorites were all at the top of her cd organizer, which was the only thing that was well organized in her room. As she rumged through the pile of mass clothes, something caught her eye. A phone number, on a crumpled torn tiny paper. 592-6604. "What the-?" she asked outloud as she made a grab for the piece of paper. Ashely shrugged it off and put it in her jewelry box and then started to throw the pile of clothes in her dirty laundry basket. Finally two hours later Ashely looked at her clean room with a satisfied yes. It wasn't every day, she had cleaned her room in only four hours, usually it took at least five, so for Ashely it was sucess. When Ashely turned around, her mouth flew open. Her reflection showed her long hair which was usually nicely layered, was a mess, scattered like a jungle, and her clothes were deeply wrinkled. After staring at her self horrified at the sight, she grabbed some new clothes from her drawer and flew to the bathroom. Ashely wetted her hair, combed it, and blew dry it only a little. She smiled at her reflection a few minutes later. Her hair was slicked into a tight pony tail, and she had on a pair of jeans, and an aqua blue tanktop. "El perfecto, muchos grasies el meo," she thanked her self out loud with a laugh. "Ashely! GEt your butt down here!" called Kelly, Ashely's sister. They were one year apart, yet they were close friends. "I"m comin' I'm commin," Ashely replied before jogging down the steps of her house and making her way to the kitchen. "What's up Kel-woah, what happened to you?" Ashely asked her sister in amazement. "Shh, shut-up, I'll tell you in my room. Hurry up come on," Kelly whispered to her sister before grabbing her with her and pushing her upstairs, across the hall, and to her room. Once Ashely closed the door, Kelly sat on her bed shivering. Her blonde hair, with red bottems was soaked, and she had a scratch on her face, her clothes were drenched, and her eyes were watery. "Oh Kelly." Ashely sighed at her sister. Kelly had been dating Jake, a former high school drop out. He got mad a lot, and some how Kelly managed to get right in his path. "He doesn't mean it, I'm fine really," Kelly ressured her younger sister. But Ashely couldn't let the thoughts of Kelly slip. She was worried about her older sister who was only sixteen. "No Kelly, Stop. Jake is hurting you." "No, no. You're wrong Ashely, Jake just needs to express his anger, and I get in the way. I'll be fine." For awhile Ashely stayed quiet. She hated Jake in every way, because he was one of those guys who were bullies, nd her sister got in the way of it. Ashely sighed. "Kelly, this isn't the best way. You are a great student, great person-" "No Ashely, I like Jake I'll be fine, just get off my back!" Kelly's harsh words hurt Ashely like someone knocking the air out of her. "Alright then, I'mm leaving!" Ashely retorted as she stormed out of her sister's room and ran down the large hallway. "Ashely, come back," Kelly howled helplessly as she watched her younger sister run away. As Ashely ran away, Kelly regreted everything. She practically told her sister to get out of her life, Jake was getting madder, and her parents would soon find out she wasn't studing and her grades were slipping. School was hard enough, and her parents were already thinking of great collages for her. Kelly had already gotten a D on an easy math test, which for her was usually a no brainer. Her life was practically slipping out of her hands. She turned to the big mirror which stood besided her bed and looked at herself. There stood a girl, eyes watery and deadshot, hair wrinklied, oily, and unhealthy, clothes wet soggy, full of mudd. "Where did I go wrong?" Mean while Ashely walked out the door and slamed it. "AHH!" she screamed. As she walked down the street Ashely decided to forget what Kelly said, and hang out at the mall, like any regular fourteen year old. "Hey!" Kelly squealed as a body grabbed her shoulder. Terrified, she threw her back leg out, and kicked that person in the smoache. "OW! Ashely!" a rough male voice cried as her foot made contact. It was Jake. "Leave me alone Jake!" Ashely started to run, Jake meant trouble, and she didn't need trouble. Ashely ran straight to the mall, before she collapsed. Tired, and worn out from running. Jake had really scared her, actually terrified her. |
