| Bridge Point August 11, 2001 My two friends and I (I'm sorry they don't want there names out) decided to get there early, though the meet and greet didn't start until 2 pm, we got there at 10 AM. To our surprise fans had already arrived!! We soon found out from the manager of Toys'R'Us that the fans up front had gotten there at 8 A.M! It was madd cold. Soon groups of girls joined by minutes. Most of them were bundled in a sweater, and listening to music, or looking at pictures of. Finally we met up with my other two friends!! Soon it started to warm up. The manager brought out a boom box, and played the cd. These two crazy fans got out of line (trust me thier group saved it) and started dancing and singing to it happens everytime. Soon some other fans joined in. An hour later those girls made signs that said: Honk For Dream Street, and danced in front of the cars. I joined in later and screamed my lungs out!! My friends and I went every where, danced. Out of no where the producers of DS gave free stuff away. Us fans ran out into the parking lot after them, trying and wanting to get our hands on posters. ANYTHING AT ALL! Of course my group didn't get anythig. :(. Then our other friend came. (Hey aren't I popular?) They left, and Radio Disney came!! We met up with Free style Franko, who was our old friend (long story). Finally after waiting 4 hours DS came. WE fans went crazy. There was so much screaming, and my friends basicly had to calm each other down. I had a poster everyone else had, and I wanted a diffrent one. So I asked one of the producers for one. Guess what, I sung in front of the camera. Aren't I crazy. I got my poster signed and a bunch of pictures with the guys. It was a great day. We were lucky, we had gotten in in the first 30 minutes!!! |
