I know a boy named Erick
He means the world to me
This boy I know - he's special
As you can plainly see.
He has an extra something
Found deep inside his cells
This thing is called a chromosome
It makes him a special angel.
He may not be as smart as you
He may not be the best
But I'm sure if you give him a little start
He'll be able to do the rest.
My brother has brought all the joy to my life
He has taught me many new things
I've learned to let go of some people
And others I've learned to let in.
So if you happen to see this special child
Think about where he has been
I ask that you open your heart
I ask that you please let him in.
For he isn't just a child
As you can probably tell
This is my brother, Erick
This is my special angel.
