We appreciate all the visits, cards, calls and attention. Last Tuesday Buddy was glad to be home and is making great progress, regaining strength and energy. Would you believe we were walking in the park by Thursday! Thanks for being such loving and caring friends.

THE BLOOD DONOR

I try to give blood regularly

It’s so easy for me to give.

A momentary sting of pain

So that someone else might live.

The sharing of blood is a wonderful thing

And I have not one regret,

For once a donor covered me

Someone I’d never met.

Without his blood there was little hope

No future could I see

Now with each new day, I seek the face

Of the one who gave blood for me.

With unbearable pain, this gift of life

The only blood covering everyone

The greatest donor to walk this earth

God’s only begotten son!

LifeBlood is in desperate need of blood donors at this time. If you can give, please go to a LifeBlood Center or call them at 522-8585 – tell them to credit DTCC.
