                     THE VALUE OF ONE MEMBER

Ten church members all in a line,

One dropped out, then there were nine.

Nine church members working very late,

One got tired, then there were eight.

Eight church members on the way to heaven,

One took a detour, then there were seven.

Seven church members got into a fix,

One lost the argument, then there were six.

Six church members united in a drive,

One moved away, then there were five.

Five church members wished there were more,

One became indifferent, then there were four.

Four church members, busy as can be,

One got discouraged, then there were three.

Three church members, what could they do?

One quit meeting, then there were two.

Two church members, not having any fun,

One joined a club, then there was one.

One church member, feeling rather blue,

Invited his friend, then there were two.

Two church members each enrolled one more,

Doubling their number, then there were four.

Four church members just couldn't wait,

Each brought another, then there were eight.

Eight church members soon found eight more.

In six more verses they had 1,024.

TIME:

Some folks save it, others make it, most waste it, several kill it and a few actually are on it. Many try to manage it and end up losing it. Time is a taker. Once past, it will never return. How it’s spent determines the satisfaction of live.
