Description

   Acid Dreams is a Windows screen saver which displays colorful moving patterns fairly quickly on most computers. The screen saver is very customizeable, allowing for nearly endless possible combinations of different effects. Acid Dreams is shareware. Click here for screen shot if the applet doesn't load.

Features

  • It does not require any special libraries like DirectX or OpenGL to run. You can install this on a computer that has had win95 freshly installed on it with nothing else and it should run fine.
  • It is very small. It installs one 73k .scr file in your windows/system directory.
  • It runs fairly fast.
  • It is very customizeable.
  • It used to run in the current screen mode, but now it switches to 640x480x16bit for speed.

       Acid Dreams is about a 70k download, which should take around 20-40 seconds to download on a 28.8 modem. You will need Winzip to extract it before installing. If you don't have Winzip, you can download Acid Dreams as a runnable exe at www.rocketdownload.com.
