Toronto Ghost Signs

This sign can be precisely dated, as the Burnett brothers, Horace L. and Alfred A., were at 318 Danforth and 1322 Danforth in 1917. This sign was on a wall near the 1322 Danforth location; Danforth Avenue was renumbered in 1923, and this building is now 2170 Danforth. The sign has been preserved for this long because it faces east; there are signs on the other side of this building, but they have faded into illegibility.
