Ideal Aluminum Products, Dundas St. W. north of Bloor

 

Here's a gloomy-looking Dark Satanic Mill. The eye-catching circular sign is for Ideal Aluminum Products, which was in business from 1922 to 1933 in this building.

Note the faded horizontal sign on the left, which described what Ideal Aluminum Products manufactured (hint: it was aluminum products). It has an unusual weathering pattern: I have no idea why the bits of sign on the pillars have lasted longer than the bits under the windows, as you would think that the pillars would be more exposed.
