DT: Talk me about your old bands, LETHARGY and SERPENT
Robbie Woning: Well, LETHARGY was an excellent mixture of Doom and Thrash Metal… I thought they were brilliant, but unfortunately one guy was heavily on drugs and they just split up…
SERPENT was my old band, it was just cool Thrash with loads of technical changes, but also this band was suffering heavily from disfunctioning band members…

DT: You're fave bands?
Robbie Woning: My fave bands have always been bands that were different, TROUBLE, MANOWAR, IRON MAIDEN, VAN HALEN, MERCYFUL FATE… Nowadays, I listen a lot of to EDGE OF SANITY, FRANK ZAPPA, NON FICTION, DEICIDE, CROWBAR, C.O.C., FATES WARNING. Stuff like that…

DT: Why the name of DEADHEAD?
Robbie Woning: I think at the time we choose this name, most bands were into Thrash/core music and they all had politically sounding names, like Ruckety, Fuckrty, Conformity, they all had social and political items in the lyrics… since we wanted to be different we choose a different name,,, the words have a good call to it….

DT: Do you like "REALM OF CHAOS" - BOLT THROWER's CD?
Robbie Woning: I have never heard their music, so I can't tell you.

DT: What do you think about porn movies and sex maniacs?
Robbie Woning: To me porn - mags aren't very interesting, but since there's a market they have the right to be around. In our rehearsal room there's a lot o that stuff on the walls, mainly with animals and children in too, it's quite funny to see what some people get off on…

DT: Are you friends with THANATOS?
Robbie Woning: Yes and I think THANATOS was a great band. Unfortunately, their attitude (especially Stephan's) was always causing them problems. I think they didn't give a fuck what anybody said…
But the 2nd THANATOS is surely a masterpiece!!!

DT: What can you tell me about "METAL IN ROCKS - VOLUME II CD" Compilation?
Robbie Woning: That it helped us to get into the club circuit in Holland, but we might as well have recorded a good studio Demo… it was a stinking project… never again!.

DT: Do you have many South American Magazines?… which are you're faves? 
Robbie Woning: Yes, but most of the time Magazines dissapear, I liked MUTILADOR from Mexico and BLOWING THRASH from Chii…

DT: What can you tell me about "FROM BELIAL" (Demo 1 - JAN '90)
Robbie Woning: We didn't release it, however the playing was quite good, the sound was bad and the vocals weren't really killing too, THE FESTERING was our first good recording.

DT: Do you like bands like DEMENTIA and QUESTIONMARK?
Robbie Woning: We played with both, but I don't remember what they sound like, also I think it's not really important what I think about fellow - bands…

DT: Your future plans?
Robbie Woning: Yes, doing this tour thing with SINISTER in Holland, after that going on our second European tour.

DT: Are you satisfied with you're "THE FESTERING" (Demo 2)?
Robbie Woning: Yes, it was the best we could do at that time, I now think it might have sounded a bit too stressed on some parts… we still learn to play everyday …but a lot of people liked it, because it sold 1300 copies, which felt good…

DT: Do you like eat "MAZAMORRA MORADA" in your breakfast?
Robbie Woning: Yes, in Holland we now have some new Mazamorra Morada with extra peanuts and chocolate, we eat all the time… Hmmm, I wonder what I just said…

DT: What can you tell me about your CD?
Robbie Woning: The news CD sounds great. It has 10 new songs and it's not pure Death - or Thrash Metal, you tell me, what is it?

DT: The best Death Thrash Metal from ever !!!
