Interview for DEATHTHRASHER MAGAZINE by ARMANDO MUTILATOR :

DT: When and why the band was formed?. 
King: The band was formed in 2000 as natural conclusion of my effort in musical sphere. 1st album was recorded as a project but my wish was to transform into regular band. And that I have already done. I inform everybody that band KING is part of the reality.

DT: What topics do you consider in your lyrics?.
King: Lyrics on CD Royal Metal are more about Slavonic resp. Slovak history, and one song Killing fields describe the horror of 1st W.W. Song Metal Anthem is celebration of metal as a music style.
Texts in my 2nd album Libertarian have more phylosofical background, are about my personality and my view on this world. 2 texts are little bit about erotic and describe the relationship between man and woman.

DT: Your influences?.
King: In the case of metal music I was strong influenced by NWOBHM (Iron MAIDEN, JUDAST PRIEST)
Lately I found very interesting thrash bands from BAY AREA (TESTAMENT). Then my favourite bands became more extreme (SLAYER, SODOM).
I listened also to classical music. I like VIVALDI, BACH.

DT: What do you know about South American Underground Scene?.
King: Yes, some bands I know about, and with some of them I mail sometimes. Most of them are from Brasil. I often visit net pages of 'zines and bands.

DT: Tell us about your experience in BESTIALIT.
King: It was really bestial time for us and our fans. In that time we played simple death metal. Singer Mortis can always glowed the fans. For us they were really excited moments.

DT: What can you talk me about your career on LUNATIC GODS?
King: This career lasted for 5 years. We recorded 2 CDs and played many live shows. I evaluate the acting in LG positive.

DT: Why do you left LUNATIC GODS?
King: There were some missunderstoods between me and other members and the situation became really unbearable. I had the feeling that I must left and try something new.

DT: Tell me about your "LIBERTARIAN" album 2003.
King: It has more rough songs than Royal Metal. The lyrics have phylosophical background. They are very good formulated.

DT: Do you like GIGER's Art?.
King: Yes, I like his works. Their originality is obvious. GIGER belongs into most important artists of 20th century. I believe he has not already finished.

DT: What do you think about extra-terrestrials? Do you believe in that?.
King: I believe in existence of another civilization. It would be naive to think that in whole space the life could exist only on planet Earth.

DT: Do you like STAR WARS?.
King: Yes I like sci-fi movies in which is described the indication of near reality.

DT: You're 10 faves Metal albums from all the times?.

DT: Are you into drugs?.
King: No. Fuck off... Alcohol is better.

DT :Do You Like Soccer?
King: Yes, I teach P.E. on secondary school. I am usually watching World Championship on TV. But I am not as fanatic in soccer as STEVE HARRIS.

DT: Do you like COCA COLA & Hot Dogs?.
King: I do not drink COCA COLA. It is too sweet. In Slovakia we have similar drink called KOFOLA. It tastes much better. Hod dog I eat only if it sint another possibility.

DT: Do you like VENOM?.
King: Yes!!! In 80ies there were no biggers Black Metal stars like VENOM and BATHORY. Many of musicians are inspirated by these cult bands. Strong side of VENOM was live show. And also I prefer trio in my band. 

DT: Your future plans?
King: Establish at serious label, record better and better albums, make a lot of live shows. I believe that soon I will enter the metal elite.

DT: Any last comment for KING's most brutal fans around the world?.
King: Together, we will destroy all of our enemies!!! Hail to KING!
