8. Cancellation
   
   1. Sierra Club may cancel this agreement by written notice delivered to the Vendor at the above address days before commence-ment of the outing without obligation to the Vendor. Within 30 days after receipt of such notice, the Vendor agrees to refund Sierra Club any previously paid advance. Sierra Club may also cancel this agreement days prior to the commencement of the outing, forfeiting the deposit but without any further obligation to the Vendor.
      
   2. If the outing is terminated after the commencement date by the Sierra Club leader because of inclement weather or other circumstances that could affect the health, welfare, and safety of the outing mem-bers, Sierra Club agrees to pay for Vendor services provided prior to the date of termination. The Vendor agrees to refund money for unused services.
