High Roller (Stratosphere) - Fairly tame roller coaster that happens to be 1000 feet in the air. 8$ to enter tower, and an additional 8$ to ride the coaster. Must be 48" or taller. Might be good for first-time roller coaster riders who aren't afraid of heights
Canyon Blaster (Circus Circus) - Short ride (1 minute), pretty smooth - great intense turns/loops. 5$ for one ride (grab a $4 coupon from brochure racks for more savings). Must be 48" or taller.
Speed, The Ride (Sahara) - Short ride (45 seconds) Uses linear induction to get up to speed. Goes forwards and then backwards over the same track. Smooth ride, pretty intense. 7$ for one ride.
The Manhattan Express (New York, New York) - Long ride (almost 3 minutes) - is very bumpy though, maybe too bumpy to be worth it - 12$.
Desperado (Buffalo Bill - Primm, Nevada) - Best coaster within 30 minutes of Vegas in terms of stats. Still on a lot of top 10 lists for height, speed, etc - can also get pretty bumpy- 8$.
