Retreat: n. A period of group withdrawal for prayer, meditation, or study.
A Conversations with God retreat is a place to examine and discuss the material from the With God series. More importantly, it is a place to create a new expression of Who You Are and Who You Wish to Become. This takes form in whatever way we want it to. Different people will have different experiences, such as:
Thinking: Understanding what CWG means regarding our theoretical or metaphysical relationship with God and the Universe.
Healing: Expression and release of those events of the current or past that are preventing someone from fully expressing their true self.
Sharing: Discovering that people all over the world are having similar experiences to you regarding CWG and other spiritual material.
Opening: Hearing the dreams and desires of others, then deciding your own dreams, be it the same or different than anyone else's.
Being: Experiencing the positive energy of a group of people who wish to bring joy and happiness in their lives.
Experiencing: Participating in talking, listening, swimming, hiking, dancing, singing, sweat lodges, and campfires under a billion stars.
The choice on how to experience the retreat is up to you. For a few people, the experience is not what they had in mind. A person may decide to leave the retreat early, or make this the last experience of this type. This is completely OK as well. We are all individuals, with individual preferences. Most people, however, absolutely love the experience. This site was developed to help you make that decision for yourself on whether to attend a retreat. If this feels "right" to you, then go for it!

Yes! We do eat well on Retreat! (Many times a vegetarian menu, with lots of healthy foods!

Destination from the hiking: A plunge into the pool by the waterfall! (A good way to help overcome a fear of heights if you have one!)
