Psalms from the Lighted Path

1 Sarah, queen of night,

In all your beauty bright,

Shine on us here,

And with your silver beam

Unlock the gate of dream;

Rise bright and clear.

On earth and sky and sea,

Oh great Olea

Its spell shall cast,

Wherever leaf may grow,

What ever I might know,

Till all be past.

O secret queen of power,

At this enchanted hour

We ask your boon.

May Elohim’s favor fall

Upon true faithful all,

O Lady Moon

2 May the powers of the One, the source of all creation;

All persuasive, omnipotent, eternal, may the Goddess,

The Lady Moon; and The God, Elohim and Jehovah- Son;

May the powers of the Spirits of the Stones

Rulers of the elemental realms; May the powers of the stars above

And earth below. Bless this place, and this time,

And I who am with you

From the point of Light within the Mind of God,

Let Light stream forth into the minds of men;

Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God,

Let Love stream forth into the hearts of men;

May gods return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known,

Let Purpose guide the little wills of men,

The Purpose which the Masters know and serve;

From the centre which we call the race of men.

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out;

And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

3 Oak, Ash and Thorn

Happy are we to be born,

In this time of Earth reborn,

We invoke you on this morn.

Goddess of the fields and trees,

We your children want to please,

To your pleasures we appease,

We will pay your homage fees.

Come to us and bless our love,

You who know the powers above,

Show yourself to those who want you,

We worship you in mist and dew.

Appear.

Woden/Odin is speaking

" I know that I hung there

on the windy tree

swung there nights, all of nine

gashed with a blade

bloodied by Odin

myself an offering to myself

knotted to that tree

no man knows whither the root of it runs

None gave me bread

None gave me drink

down to the depths I peered

to snatch up runes

with a roaring screech

and fall in a dizzying faint

Wellspring I won

and wisdom too

and grew and joyed in my growth

from a word to a word

I was led to a word

from a deed to another deed

-Selah

4 "My Law is Harmony with all things. Mine is the secret that opens the gates of life and mine is the dish of salt of the earth that is the body of Cernunnos that is the eternal circle of rebirth. I give the knowledge of life everlasting, and beyond death I give the promise of regeneration and renewal. I am the sacrifice, the father of all things, and my protection blankets the earth."

Hear the words of the dancing God, the music of whose laughter stirs the winds, whose voice calls the seasons:

"I who am the Lord of the Hunt and the Power of the Light, sun among the clouds and the secret of the flame, I call upon your bodies to arise and come unto me. For I am the flesh of the earth and all it's beings. Through me all things must die and with me are reborn. Let my worship be in the body that sings, for behold all acts of willing sacrifice are my rituals. Let there be desire and fear, anger and weakness, joy and peace, awe and longing within you. For these too are part of the mysteries found within yourself, within me, all beginnings have endings, and all endings have beginnings." So Mote It BE!

5 Brighid, preserve the fire, as You preserve us all.

Brighid, may its warmth remain in our midst, as You are always among us.

Brighid, may it rise to life in the morning, as You raise us to light

Go we now to the sacred place

and stand within the sacred space

Turn your minds to sacred things

And commune with God in the sacred ring

Come we forth with spiral dance

Within the Lady’s radiance

To celebrate the Son’s mortal birth

To renew life, to save the earth

Earth, and water fire and air

I invoke the goddess there

this night we are between the worlds

Earth among us

Kolob there

Earth and water fire and air

I invoke the God Most High

Born mortals yet to never die

Come to us and heed or call

By the power that birthed us all

by the God that graces thee

and does it all so freely

Come to us and blessed be

Blessed Brighot

Mother nay yet maiden be

I am but a thought within His Word

He says a word and thus a deed.

I was cast away yet found again

circle with me around the flame.

Cast upon its sacred hearth

all thy worry and concern

for in his promise to Abraham

God hath said hell save all men

receive the sign

and token cast

choose the path of ancient ones of past

or continue in recent ways

to God its true

Yea all the same.
