Scott manages to get some free tickets to head up to Castle Coombe for a day at the CCC/ The Golf/ Kit Car Action Day. ( Thanks to Chris Adams from ClubGTI for the tickets), Only time for a session each by the time we get there!.. Too much slow driving on route!
Moving from the paddock area out into the pitlane ready for the off, Scott is just in front - at this stage!!
At the end of the first lap, traffic is a problem, The Celica is fast on the straights
but not so good on the bends! Some late braking gonna happen anytime now!
James wastes no time in chasing Scott down and outcorners a Westfield onto the pit straight...
Scott's sorted the traffic and getting stuck in now, Warming up the Yoko's - and the oil!! (128 Degrees C)
James is free from other cars too now, and chasing Scott down... As they say,
Catching is one thing, passing ( Hang on are we supposed to be racing??? )
James has caught Scott, But hang on... S**T!! Wheres that Westfield going,
There's a wake up call right there!
Keep going Mr Westfield....
He's outa there and the enevitable happens, James takes the lead into the next corner!
And just as we get going it is game over... But what a giggle!
Time to slow down and head for the pits....
But we'll be back... May get some of the others there next time!
