Monday, August 17, 1998

FRAMINGHAM -- Tracy (Noonan) Ducar wasn't her usual spectacular self in net, but the Raleigh Wings still beat the Boston Renegades, 4-3, to capture the W-League soccer title before 2,180 fans at Bowditch Field.

The former North Andover High great made five saves in the win. Renegades captain Amy Heseltine of Andover scored one of the goals against her friend and former high school rival.

Heseltine, who starred at Andover High and Providence College, was named to the all-tourney team.
