Comments: The Animation style is extremely cutesy, and the SD formations of the characters are adorable. Some of the best I've seen in the manner of being cute. Both the love interests are likeable, and I wouldn't mind which one gets her (though I'm voting for Riiya-kun; there's just something about fang boys). My only beef is the fact that since I've only seen the first 10 episodes, I don't understand the villian's motive for attacking Chacha. Likely, the explaination comes later in the series.

Comments: Compared to Fushigi Yuugi, Ayashi no Ceres is a lot more adult of a story. The plotline is good, and rather interesting, and since they had to cut out half the volumes of the manga to accomidate the 24 episodes allowed, it gets things done quickly. Unfortunately, if you've /read/ the manga (like I have) there are a lot of points that get ignored or skipped which can piss you off, but seperately, this series is one of the best. Even if the guy I liked din't get the girl.
Bakuen Guardress Campus (Combustable Guardress Campus) OVA 1-4 of 4

Summary: A 4 part OVA about a high school built on the Gateway between the Earth Dimension, and the Demon Dimension. 4 Guardians reborn from thousands of years ago, guard the gateway in an attempt to avoid it being opened. One of the Guardians, Takumi, is the Key. They have to protect him above all others. Hasumi, posing as Takumi's sister so that she can stay close to protect him, is in love with her 'pretend brother'.

Comments: I firsted watched this during Buffy season 5, with the Dawn/Key plotline, and I was boggling at the basic similarities. The story is fun, and touching, and the second half of the second episode is /amazing/. The flashback scene is what drew me in and made me stay watching. You'll see what I mean.

Comments: Animation is similar to Kodomo no Omocha, and Kanata-kun has ample comparisons to Hayama (from Komocha). The series is over-all fun, and adorable.

Comments: After seeing all of it, I have to say that I really really like this series. Some parts are a little much (there's a lot of innuendo here and there), but the animation is beautiful, and I can't help but be hopelessly in love with Junta, just like every other female character in the series. And I cried at at least two parts in the series. ;_; It's so beautiful sometimes! And the end! ;_;

Comments: Love the characters. The series itself has some slow parts, but my favorite part is how you can never pin down a specific bad guy. One episode you're sure it's one person, and ten episodes later that person shows their true intent and leaves you stunned. Like a real war, this story has no specific "good guy"/"bad guy". Just human beings struggling for what they believe.

Comments: Similar in style to Akazukin ChaCha, Guru Guru has some things that make it impossible to miss. One thing is constant comparisons to video games. Most the characters get introduction windows that tell their names and stats. It's a very cute way to do things.

Comments: Amazingly, one of the few anime where the guy I like has the best chance of getting the girl! The animation is fairly different, but I still like it. The anime itself is dedicated mainly to plot and character development. It's one of the most 'soap opera'ish of all the anime I have. It is also one of the most 'real life' not having magics or anything exceptionally unbelieveable supporting the story. It supports itself on sheer powerful plot and wonderful character designs.

Comments: Well, the one shot story itself isn't bad. It tries to stuff an introduction to a large manga series into 30 minutes though, which can never be sucessful. The big catcher is the fact that the seiyuu of the main guy is the same as Duo's from Gundam Wing.
