Will's Personal Room -- Tower of Illusion -- Niflheim

Once you step into this room you find it different from any of
the others you've faced before. Instead of being a solid feeling room,
this one seems more like a scene out of a movie with scenes flashing
everywhere, showing you sights you couldn't possibly know by yourself.
To spacially define this room is impossible...for it's component parts
are mere images, linked together only as are separate thoughts. You are
first aware of a cold, oppressive grip of darkness surrounding you. You
cannot escape. You cannot resist. The Darkness owns you. As you pass
through the darkness, you realize that these are the mental impressions
of whoever this room is dedicated to, not your own. Then you see the
obscure form of a young boy, torn from his parents, and given to the
darkness.

Terry folds her arms across her chest. She looks concerned by this room,
"Where are we?"

Will follows Terry in silently. His eyes are a bit wider than they
should be, and overall he looks vaguely shellshocked...but isn't that
normal for him?

Gwen Namura steps in after Will, tilting her head, and moving to his
side. "Something wrong...er than usual?"

Will mutters to Gwen Namura, "I don't... this place."

Lishka gives a slight snicker, still staying with the group
while she regains some of her energy. She's running this particulat
nightmare all herself. And she's choosen to target one of the
obviously... weakest members of the team. Perhaps a go to end the game
now by making them lose by focasing on a weaker link. The room continues
to change, almost as if a movie continueing onward in slow motion.
Feelings as well as images. Sounds to amplify. And even smells when
appropraite. Various sadistic implements for inflicting pain adorn the
walls, even as the obscured young man is seen performing various tasks,
serving the cold darkness that is his master in many ways, some so
terrible they cannot even take visible form. The most brutal part is the
lack of humanity...the beleif that he is nothing more than a slave, a
dog. He is nothing but the property of the darkness.

"Poor boyo.. poor thing..." Terry's eyes watch the images with a kind of
sadness.

Will trembles a bit as the room runs its course, and can occasionally be
heard making odd noises...like when you step on a puppy's tail.

Gwen Namura reaches out and takes Will's hand. "This is your triumph,
Will. This is something you overcame, and broke free from. He's never
gonna get you again. And if he even tries, you know what'll happen? Same
thing we're doing for Ev, we'll do for you."

Will holds tight to Gwen's hand, like a young boy might hold his
mother's. He's shivering now, the darkness threteaning to overcome him.

Terry blinks as she realizes what Gwen is saying. She glances towards
Will.

Gwen Namura holds Will's hand a bit closer. "I can make the darkness go
away a little, Will. But I'm not going to. Because you know you can beat
this, because you have and you did. You want to show us how you did it?"

Will whispers, almost as if afraid to speak out of turn, "I ran
away....I hid. I couldn't stop it because they were stronger than me."
Reality is hard to grasp when his worst nightmare is forming around him,
and the others can now see all the horrible things that happened to him.

The images continue to show themslves, feelings, sounds, every
form of repersentation of what means to be shown imaginable. Instead of
the piercing hope which filled Will and saved him from the darkness,
there's a deep sense of dread. As if it's unescapable. The tortures, the
sounds that Will heard, the smells he would have smelled, everything is
showing itself. All the while Lishka has slipped away from the group
while their attention is focased on Will and the room around them."

Will tha's na' true.. y' are stronger than they could ever be.."

Terry tilts her head, "I've seen wha' y' can d'.. y' na' ye can beat
them.."

Gwen Namura says "They were stronger than you, physically, Will. But you
were a baby. They never, ever, broke you."

Will leans closer to Gwen, probably looking silly, considering his
height. "But they left me alone in the darkness. With those cold people.
I was alone....I didn't know any better." Now he seems to be pleading
for understanding, as the shame he feels at this comes to the surface.

Will seems about to say something, as a huge black fist abruptly bursts
up through the ground, clenching him within it, and thrusts up into the
sky.

Will cries out as he's carried upward, the ground shaking a bit in tune
with the fist's movements.

Gwen Namura hangs on to Will. A golden spike forms on her left arm, and
she slashes into the first with it, to aid her grip, as well as to hurt
it real bad.

"Will...y' ha' t' fight it. Y' ha' t' finish it.." Terry yells to him.

Gwen manages to skewer the hand neatly...at which point the hand pops
like a balloon, the force throwing the self-appointed Paladin down, even
as its bones shape into a sort of bird cage around Will.

Meanwhile, a giant man--must be at least twenty feet tall--has emerged
from the darkness. He wears an expensively tailored Armani suit, and
carries a riding crop--you know, the short, stiff whips--in his right
hand.

Will stands up in the cage, looking towards the others worriedly. Can't
he do something? Maybe...but he has to believe it first.

Terry yells, "GWEN Y'Canna fight fer him! He has t' d' it.." She watches
pensivily.

Gwen Namura lands on her rear. "Like, heck yes. Will! Show him what
you've learned!"

Will moves to the edge, standing against the edge but not yet forcing
through. "Gwen, Terry...watch out!"

The tall man in the suit raises his riding crop and swings it at Gwen,
even as the impliment begins to glow with golden flames.

Terry doesn't use her yell but shoves Gwen out of the way of the crop.

Gwen Namura takes Terry's shove and uses it to pull Terry out of the way
as well. "Tell us what to do, Will!"

Will sits there for a long moment still....then screams, "NO!!!! You
CAN'T hurt my FRIENDS!!!!!"

Will abruptly explodes into electricity, his power 'surge'ing out of the
space his body occupied to wash away the darkness in a huge blast of
light...

When the light clears, the man lies on the ground, looking beaten. He
slowly shrivels and withers away like a dead plant....and then all goes
dark.

Terry blinks as she watches. "Damn.."

Gwen Namura says "Lights, Terry?"

A pool of silver light appears, within sits Will. He looks kind of
stunned, and like he just saw things he never wanted to...but he's
unquestionably free and otherwise OK.

Gwen Namura walks over to Will.

Will looks up numbly at Gwen. "Did we win?"

Gwen Namura says "Looks it."

Will smiles.

Terry tilts her head, "Wow Will.."

Will looks to Terry.

Terry grins, "Congrats.."

Will smiles

Will says "Thank you"

Gwen Namura says "Feel good?"

The air near the edge of the area seems to shimmer a doorway
forming. The doorway appears to be much like any doorway in a modern
house, wood pannels on the sides and all. The only thing truely odd
about this, is the fact that the doorway leads into... nothing. It looks
like you'd be walking into a blank sheet of paper. But then again by now
you've learned this place is strange.

Will says "I...guess so. I feel better than I did, anyway..."

Gwen Namura says "Let's get out of here."

Will gets up and looks to the new door.

Stairwell -- Tower of Illusion -- Niflheim

This stairwell is very wide, accomodating and made of hickory. The
originality of the eerie feeling of seeing things similar to your own
world has likely warn off by now, but this one has a few added touches
that aren't in the stairwell's mirror on earth. This stairwell is taken
from the Public High School where much of the team attends, and it is
open and very empty. Graffiti covers the walls and the wood has been
carved into by knives and other sharp insturments, just like back on
earth, only a lot of the graffiti is different. There's formations in
dark brownish-red smears (old dried blood by the look and smell). The
entire stairwell smells dirty to those with normal noses. To those with
sensitive noses this stairwell smells absolutely horrible.

Terry sits on the steps, "charming."

Gwen Namura says "Yep. It's not too bad."
