The kid is eventually found in a room, likely a classroom, sitting on
the teachers desk of all places. Still a cute adorable little kid, looking all
innocent. "Hmm. So -you- followed me." The voice is not that of a child. It's
the same as Teiman. Icy, and very lonely.
(~~...aww shit..~~) Jono says as he follows the kid into the room. Everything
about him is tense, harsh. His eyes dart around the room, looking for anything
or anyone else in the room, (~~...wot br'ngs y'back t'our l'ttle c'rner o'
`ell, Teiman?~~) he asks, his tone still edgey.
Teiman grins, sitting up, still in teeny tiny kid form, "Oh, I don't know. I'd
say you, but it's not that simple. Let's just say, I'm a little worried about
how this game is going. I'd like to ask a few questions if I may?" Oh, btw,
there's a -great- amount of psionic energy inside this little boy. He's nearly
an Elder as it is. He's only got fifty years left.
(~~..ask `way, bloke.~~) Jono replies. Energy. Replenishment. Jono tries to
subtle draw energy-nourishment from the small package, watching him warily
still.
Teiman doesn't seem to notice or care about the energy draining. But he does
care about his questions, and he chooses them carefully, "What is Lishka
after? Has she named the stakes of the game yet? Or has she saved that for
last like a good girl?"
(~~..shes n'med th'st'kes, I th'nk. C'n't y'just ch'ck up on `er 'r
someth'ng?~~) he asks, watching Teiman carefully. Energy! Jono is quick to
drain a good 'meal' from the Elder-to-be, the energies behind his jacket and
wrappings surging with new strength.
There's a sly grin, "What do you think I'm doing, Mr. Starsmore?" Then Teiman
sits up a little, his form shifting into the one her originally showed up in
the first time he made his presense known, "I'm checking up on her through
you. I figure this way is easier, and better for all those involved."
A mental snort (~~..fair deal... sh'w'nts Ev. Th'kid firecr'cker's in l've
with.~~) he says, venom dripping off his tone still. When he left the group,
Paige's future was Mrs Thomas, and he doesn't take too kindly to that.
Teiman's eyebrow raises, "She wants... 'Ev'? A young man I assume? What for?
Why does she want him and not the rest of you? Is there something particually
special about him?" He seems... bothered almost by this. Wow. An actual
emotion from him. Strange.
Jono shrugs, (~~..b'gger'd if I kn'w.~~) he replies, shrinking in on himself.
His hands dig into his pockets, and he just keeps a trickle of energy feeding
off of Teiman.
Teiman taps his chin, then jerks his head up as the room vanishes. He frowns
slightly, then gives a small shrug, "Your friends have moved on without you.
That wasn't very nice of them."
(~~...fuck...~~) he says, sounding none too pleased as he glances around,
trying to find his friends...
Waving his hand carelessly, "Do not worry, you will join them soon, I am
sure." Teiman shakes his head and says, "Lishka is a strange creature, isn't
she?"
ANother mental snort (~~..sh's a c'ld `earted b'tch, and I'd r'ther see `er
spl'tter'd `gainst that wall, then playin' _games_~~). Careful, Jono, psis
don't growl.
Teiman chuckles and shakes his head, "My, my. You've only seen the the face
she puts forward to her prey, haven't you? She's not cold hearted. And that's
her problem. Anyway, has she done anything expecially foolish in the Tower? Is
she going to let you all pass through the 13th floor?"
Another derisive snort, (~~..wot's yer def'nition of foolish then, bloke?~~)
he asks. Lishka's done some far out shit. Jono's never been in a battle
situation before, he hasn't seen half of what a highpowered mutant could do.
Teiman gives a slight shrug, "Anything that might determine a weakness of hers
to you. Showing emotion other then the icy 'bitch' side you so enjoy seeing.
Helping you continue. Giving you food, water. Allowing you more then an hour
or two of rest..."
Yes, yes, yes, yes.. but Jono doesn't reply. His eyes narrow slightly,
(~~..`nd thots 'foolish'?~~)
Teiman nods, "Yes. It's against the rules of the Game, set by the Elders. It
makes the game easier for those involved. Makes it more difficult for those
running the game. The theme of our games are not to enjoy ourselves. They are
to -win-. That simple."
(~~..y'ain't g'nna win.~~) he states, rather simply. Even if he feels like
he's been kicked in the non-existant gut, Jono is still a fighter.
Teiman's hands spread out, "I don't want to win. This is not my game. I'm just
a spectator."
He'd smirk if he could, (~~...like y'like thot bitch.~~) he says, alluding to
some of the past he saw when Lishka was playing her own game.
Teiman gives a slight shrug, "She's an interesting sort. But I don't like her
any more then I like you. Unlike Lishka, the rest of us do not ... practice
pleasent feelings." Except perhaps Sadistic feelings. He did seem to enjoy
torturing Lishka in that illusion.
Jono shrugs, (~~...th'n wot else y'w'nt?~~) he questions, uneasy. Teiman is a
nice meal, but the psi doesn't want to stick around.
Teiman grins, "I want nothing more from you. You may go now." Then he looks
around and grins, "But it appears you can't, can you? Too bad. Oh wait...
looky there." And Archway appears.
Another mental snort. Jono's getting sick of the mindgames.. he starts towards
the archway, shrinking in on himself again...
