I received 1st place honors at the 1999 World Taxidermy Championships and in 2001 I placed 1st overall in the state of Oklahoma on birds. I am also Oklahoma state certified in bird taxidermy, and have also reached master taxidermist status.
During the summer of 2002 the Oklahoma state show was held in Tulsa. It was very exciting to have it so close to home. I received first place in the masters division on a woodduck and received honors for the best habitat.
I have been a taxidermist for, well, I did my first mount when I was 14. I have been a full time taxidermist for the past 8 years and specialize in birds and fish, although I work with all animals.
